In this collection, my Abstractions are another form of Storytelling. They invite you to let go of preconceived notions of what is and has been, embracing a more abstract narrative.

My intention, in exploring this style, was to loosen my controlled brushwork that defines the imagery in my Stories on old doors and found wood. However, free from recognizable images on a manufactured substrate void of history, I unexpectedly discovered growth and something deeper beyond the rhythmic layers of color and mediums I applied. I invite you to journey with me, looking beyond the surface as you know it to see what might be hidden within.
